Commissions Policy

Overview

CardyShop operates with a buyer-based commission system. Sellers receive 100% of the price they set for their cards, while buyers cover all applicable fees.

Buyer’s Fees

1. Stripe Fees: Stripe applies a flat fee of approximately €0.45 plus 4% of the total order value. The total includes both products and shipping costs.

2. CardyShop Platform Fees: Platform fees are tiered based on the total order value (including products and shipping):

   • €0.50 for orders below €10.
   • €1.00 for orders up to €20.
   • €2.00 for orders above €20 and up to €50.
   • €3.00 for orders above €50 and up to €100.
   • €5.00 for orders above €100 and up to €150.
   • €8.00 for orders exceeding €150.

Example Calculation

If an order totals €50 (products + shipping):

• Stripe Fee: €0.45 + (4% of €50 = €2.00) = €2.45.
• CardyShop Fee: €2.00.
• Total Fees: €4.45 (paid by the buyer).
